Does Pete and Cher look alike?

This video of Cher performing “Believe” isn’t from the 80s, but I can’t resist the temptation of placing her video next to Pete Burns, from Dead or Alive . The reason for doing so, is to compare the similarity of both artists. Do they look alike? I am sure this half naked picture of Pete does not.
Anyway, Cher is a legend, whereas I don't know what's Pete. Musicaly, she survived through many decades and still surviving till today. In the 80s she was also popular with songs like “I found someone” and “If I could Turn Back Time”. I take off my hat this great lady!
